Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Sports Therapy [PBOST] is currently searching for a passionate, energetic, confident, and outgoing full-time Orthopedic Sports Medicine Physical Therapist to join our team! Our state-of-the-art facility in Plymouth is a home to many Therapists who work in a collaborative team environment with great emphasis on providing the highest quality of patient care using best practice. Our patient population consists of general orthopedics, post-surgical orthopedics, operative and non-operative spine, and sports medicine.

This position is uniquely responsible for supporting our high-volume orthopedic multi-specialists. In addition, is accountable for, but not limited to: rooming patients, capturing vitals, obtaining/entering clinical information into the patient’s electronic medical record, cleaning/ maintaining exam rooms, fielding clinical messages, cast removal/application, suture removals, and injection preparation. You will also receive expanded orthopedic in-services (Casting, DME Training, IV Training, and more!)
Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates, Inc. [PBOA] is a busy, multi-physician, patient-centered orthopedic practice seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Clinical Team. This position is uniquely responsible for supporting our high-volume orthopedic multi-specialists. In addition, is accountable for rooming patients, capturing vitals, obtaining/entering clinical information into the patient’s electronic medical record, cleaning and maintaining exam rooms, and fielding clinical messages. Travel to our satellite offices is required, but it is infrequent for this specialized role.
Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Medical Assistant Certification Required
Technical Skills/Competencies: Ability to thrive in a customer driven, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, strong communication and writing skills, and being able to work effectively with other team members. Job duties also consist of:
- Assisting the provider, providing quality hands-on patient care
- Cast removal and application
- Durable Medical Equipment [DME] application as requested by providers
- Management and facilitation of medication refills per provider direction
- Suture removals
- Clinical Workflow
- Strong organizational skills
- Prepare exam rooms in between each patient
- Injection preparation (as needed)
- Regular, daily, stocking of exam rooms with the necessary supplies
- Receive and handle all clinical patient telephone calls to completion under the advisement of the provider

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as a liaison between patient/family/provider
- Assist patients with the check-out process
- Create a positive patient experience by providing excellent customer service
- Manage a physician’s clinic and surgical schedule

Excellent opportunity for an Radiology Technologist to work in a multi-site, fast paced orthopedic practice.
Responsibilities:
- Perform x-rays ordered by the Provider to help diagnose a variety of medical problems
- Communicate effectively with all types of patients to gain their understanding and cooperation with radiographic testing
- Prepare radiographic equipment
- Position patients correctly
- Accurate captures the requested diagnostic image by setting the appropriate technique to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged
- Take preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
- Wear appropriate RAD badge at all times
Position Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program is required
- Ability to initiate and complete tasks related to job duties without direct supervisor
- Ability to work well with others and be willing to help when needed
- Ability to multi-task with patients and other responsibilities
Education: Associate’s Degree
Licenses:
- CPR
- Massachusetts state licensure in Radiography is required
