This position is uniquely responsible for supporting our high-volume orthopedic multi-specialists. In addition, is accountable for, but not limited to: rooming patients, capturing vitals, obtaining/entering clinical information into the patient’s electronic medical record, cleaning/ maintaining exam rooms, fielding clinical messages, cast removal/application, suture removals, and injection preparation. You will also receive expanded orthopedic in-services (Casting, DME Training, IV Training, and more!)

Joining the PBOA team is an excellent opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to work in a multi-site, fast paced orthopedic practice. Job responsibilities include: performing x-rays ordered by the provider to help diagnose a variety of medical problems, communicating effectively with all types of patients to gain their understanding of radiographic testing, preparing radiographic equipment, positioning patients correctly and accurately, capturing the requested diagnostic image by setting the appropriate technique to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged, taking preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation, and wear appropriate RAD badge at all times.
Position Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program
- Massachusetts state licensure in Radiography is required
- CPR
