Michelle has been working as a PT since 2000. She earned a BS in Biology with concentrations in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from the University of Maine, Orono in 1997, where she also played softball. She went on to earn a Master’s in PT from Boston University in 1999, and a Doctorate in PT from Boston University in 2009.
She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, acute rehab, and outpatient PT settings. She also taught at BU. Her clinical focus is on patient education and functional training to help her patients better understand their injuries, how to remedy them, and most importantly, how to prevent future injuries.
When not in the clinic you will find her out in the woods as a Scout leader with her son and daughter’s Scouts BSA troops. She enjoys teaching outdoor leadership and survival skills, to foster an overall love of the outdoors. She is the proud mother of 2 Eagle scouts.
