Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates (PBOA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Steven K. Leckie as its new President, effective July 1, 2024.
Dr. Steven Leckie brings a solid career of excellence in the field of orthopedic spine surgery, spanning over ten years. Dr. Leckie is well-equipped to lead PBOA into its next phase of growth and innovation.
“We are thrilled to congratulate Dr. Steven Leckie as our new president,” said Dr. R. Scott Oliver. “Dr. Leckie is a visionary leader with a proven track record of success. We are confident that under his leadership, Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates will continue to thrive and achieve even greater milestones.”
Dr. Oliver has led PBOA as President for the past four decades. During his leadership, the orthopedic organization has grown from his solo practice to fifteen physicians, surgeons and physician assistants and includes over one hundred employees. The orthopedic group is known across Massachusetts as providing the highest quality of orthopedic care. Although Dr. Oliver has elected to step down from his administrative duties, he will continue to provide orthopedic care to his patients.
Dr. Leckie will focus on ensuring that PBOA remains at the forefront of the healthcare landscape. “I am honored to be selected as President,” said Dr. Leckie. “I look forward to working with the talented team here to drive our mission forward and deliver exceptional value to our patients.”
Dr. Leckie holds his college degree from Harvard University, his medical degree from University of Massachusetts, his orthopedic training at University of Pittsburgh and lastly his Spine Fellowship at Emory University. He has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to orthopedic spine care.
