Dr. Scott: Hi, I’m Dr. Scott Oliver, and I’ve been here for a while. I started here at Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates in 1982. I’m originally from Michigan, went to University of Michigan Medical School, did a couple of years down in University of North Carolina, finished up at Tufts Orthopedic Program, and was the Chief Resident at New England Baptist Hospital. There I learned to do joint replacement, primarily hip and knee replacements.
What I’ve done over the last several years that I’ve been here is develop a practice where we have many specialists. We have a lot of different specialists; we have shoulder specialists, hand specialists, sports medicine specialists, spine specialists, and now we have pain intervention. All these together form Plymouth Bay Orthopedic Associates.
