No. PBOA After-Hours Access powered by HURT! is open to anyone with a non-emergency orthopedic concern in Plymouth, Duxbury, Sandwich, and the surrounding South Shore and Cape communities. You do not need to be an established PBOA patient to start.
What does HURT! cost to start?
HURT! messaging is free to start. If you are scheduled for follow-up care with PBOA, that visit is billed normally, and standard insurance benefits, copays, deductibles, referral requirements, authorizations, or self-pay rates may apply.
Do I need a referral to start?
No referral is needed to start using HURT!. If you schedule follow-up care with PBOA, your insurance plan may still require a referral or authorization for that appointment.
