What is it?
ACL Reconstruction is a procedure used to reconstruct a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) using a tissue graft to stabilize the knee. This can be done through very small incisions using an arthroscopy camera and special instruments. Improved methods and advances in ACL Repair have reduced complications and allowed for a quicker recovery time than in the past. Similar techniques can be used to repair other ligaments in the knee as well.
