About Revision Spine Surgery:
Revision spine surgery is performed in patients who require corrections of problems associated with their previous spine surgery (or surgeries). The procedure is considered for patients with nonunion, deformity, or adjacent segment degeneration. Revision spine surgery may be done with minimally invasive methods.
How is it performed?
Revision spine surgery does not have one universal method for successful completion. It is a broad term for any corrections needed to fix or repair a damaged area of the spine that was not previously relieved of pain from prior surgeries.
