About Cubital Tunnel Syndrome:
Cubital tunnel syndrome is a condition in which pressure or stretching of the ulnar nerve (also known as the “funny bone” nerve stretching around the elbow) occurs, causing numbness or tingling in the ring and small fingers, forearm or elbow pain, and/or weakness in the hand.
Signs & Symptoms
- Numbness and tingling in the ring and small fingers
- Weakness in the hand
- Pain at the inner elbow
How is it Treated?
- Physical therapy
- Limiting bending the elbow too much
- Avoiding resting the inner elbow on hard surface
- Cutting back on overuse of the elbow
